Who We Are

St. John’s Mission Charitable Trust started in 2000 with the unity and co-operation of twelve members of our church. It was properly registered in 2003 vide no.79/IV/2003, of which the headquarters is at Kothamangalam. Fifteen cents of land was purchased in 2005 near Kothamangalam Marthamariyam Cathedral, and the Mission office was constructed forth with by Grace of God. At Mariyapuram in Idukki district the Mission started two orphanages in 2008. Twenty cents of land was purchased in 2009 and two buildings were constructed for orphanages (Reg. No. 1913/12 and 2285/14).


An organization established with a purpose of helping orphans, widows and providing financial helps to students for their education .The activists of the Mission Trust visit govt. hospitals asylums, cancer centers and leprosy hospitals.

What We Do

— Help For Education

Besides our 40 orphanage children, presently mission is providing financial helps to 25 students who are studying in school level as well as for other degree courses. And issued educational equipment’s .

02.

— Homes for the poor

Every year 5 to 7 houses are constructed for the poor. Presently 7 houses are under construction. Apart from the construction of new houses, slight repairing works of 53 (fifty three) houses have already been completed last year.

03.

— Help For The Sick

Financial helps issued to the poor and financially backward patients, purchase medicines as well as paid the hospital bills to the said patients. Mission is giving Medical aid for at least 10 people in every Saturdays.

04.

— Help For Marriage​

So far the Trust has financially helped 409 poor girls, who lost their parents or who are from financially backward families, to get married.

05.

— Pension For The Poor Blinds

Financial helps issued like as pension to the 35 poor blinds in every month

06.

— Free training for tailoring

Training for tailoring on free of cost is arranged every Friday & Saturday at Mission center.

07.

— Free Food Service in The Hospital

Food is being supplied to patients in Three Govt. hospitals in Perumbavoor, Varappetty, Kothamangalam and the vagabonds and lepers living on the road sides of Kothamangalam on every Tuesdays

08.

— Hospital Visit

The activists of the Mission Trust visit govt. hospitals asylums, cancer centers and leprosy hospitals every Thursday. They pray for the sick and evangelize them and help them giving financial assistance for medicine.

09.

— Palliative Home Care Unit

The Mission’s palliative care Unit visits the bed ridden patients giving them medicine and food every Wednesday. Now 45 homes are under the care, protection and solace of Palliative care unit of the Mission
